Oboe Lessons with Aaron Lakota

I am currently accepting students in the Greenfield, Massachusetts area for oboe performance, all stages of reed-making, and musicianship lessons. My teaching philosophy focuses on a personalized, collaborative approach to help you achieve your musical goals, whether you are a beginner or an advanced player.

Lesson Rates

  • 30-minute weekly lesson: $45
  • 60-minute weekly lesson: $70
  • 90-minute weekly lesson: $90

Non-weekly lessons are subject to an additional $10 fee per session.

Travel Lessons: I am available to travel to your location at my discretion. Rates range from $60–$100 per hour depending on distance, with a 1-hour minimum required for travel lessons.

Masterclasses & Workshops

I am available for oboe and reed-making masterclasses throughout New England. If you are interested in hosting a reed-making seminar or would like me to participate in your college or university double reed day, please reach out to discuss the details.
